TOP 3 FREAKY STUFF from my childhood (and probably yours too)

My mom said that when I was a kid, I was the type who questioned everything.  Obstinate and always rebelling against authority (in this case, older family members).  When we were 3 years old, I shoved my cousin into a nearby drain for goodness knows what reason, and he wasn't my only victim.  At annual family gatherings, the stories of my childhood badassery are a staple feature.  Not something to be proud of, eh?  But despite being the Cruella De Vil of the family, these are the TOP 3 things that freaked me out as a kid.

3. ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?
I bet this show spooked millions of you guys out there too.  This show was once aired on Disney Channel, contributing towards the nightmares of those growing up in the '90s.  Each episode kicks off with a group of kids called the Midnight Society gathering around a campfire, telling ghost stories and urban legends.

One particular episode that puts me off any human-looking dolls, including Barbie (until today) is one which involved a missing girl slowly turning into a doll.  I don't really remember the full details, but I officially hate human-looking dolls.  Chucky only added to the injury.

2. WOODPECKERS DRILLING THROUGH WINDOWS
I grew up watching a lot of classic cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Silly Symphonies, and the like.  Woody Woodpecker was one of them.  For some reason, I decided to believe that birds are able to drill through glass windows and concrete walls, many thanks to Woody Woodpecker.  Back then, my parents bought a house with a compound full of fruit trees, somewhere near a Malay village.  I remember a starfruit tree, a rambutan tree, and a mango tree; the mango tree most of all, because sometimes pythons hang out there.  And not to forget, cobras also roamed freely in the small field next to our house.

But yes, Mr Woody Woodpecker, you were the scariest of them all.  You just had to run around the TV screen, laughing "ha-ha-ha-HA-ha" in an insane manner.  Snakes, cats, and dogs don't do that.  Woodpeckers are NUMBER 2 on this list.

And now, for the NUMBER ONE SPOT...

1. MICHAEL JACKSON
I still don't get it to this day.  Why would I be afraid of the King of Pop?  My mom said that I used to run out of the living room sobbing uncontrollably, every time Michael Jackson appeared on TV.  What was it about him that spooked me out?

Do you guys have any ideas? Wanna help me brainstorm a bit?

Anybody out there? Anyone??
